This old beauty went from being a rotting flower pot in the dirt, to a canvas, to this soulful piece you see here. It is not playable as the neck is warped, and the body’s wood is too weak to be strung up and hold under all the tension, but it makes for a very strong statement, and a bright, beautiful wall piece. Rastafarianism has defined and changed me throughout my whole life ever since I was a child and my mother would play Bob Marley throughout the house every weekend. Again, in my early twenties, I had matured enough to understand a deep spirituality tied to the Rastafarian way, and the music of Bob Marley. Reggae as a whole began to redefine and revitalize my sense of spirit, and true freedom in this life.
