The “Lands” series is a series of smaller paintings of imagined landscapes made by abstract expressionistic beginnings being spontaneously defined into dreamy natural scenery using impressionistic technique, and surrealist sensibilities in the choices of color and pattern. No plans, no reference photos. These are visuals created by the eye and imagination enjoying abstraction to the point of subject-object visualization geared in particular toward visions of “Land”.
